Kids who understand AI, not just use it.
Your child is already meeting AI in homework helpers, games, videos and voice assistants. SysKiddo gives families simple, screen-light activities that teach how AI works, when to trust it, and how to stay safe.
The AI Safety Checklist for Parents
A 2-page printable: what to set up, what to talk about, and the warning signs to watch for. Ready in 10 minutes.
AI is in your kid's world. Understanding it is the new basic skill.
Banning AI doesn't work for long, and handing it over without context doesn't either. Kids do best when they understand what's behind the curtain.
How it works
AI isn't magic or a person. It learns patterns from examples. Once kids get that, everything else makes sense.
When to trust it
AI can sound sure and still be wrong. Kids learn to double-check, spot fakes and think for themselves.
How to stay safe
What never to share with a chatbot, why AI "friends" aren't friends, and when to come get a grown-up.
AI Explorers: 5 lessons you do together
Each lesson takes about 30 minutes: a short read-aloud explanation, a hands-on game (most need no screen at all), a printable worksheet and dinner-table questions.
No tech skills needed. If you can read a recipe, you can teach this.

Questions parents ask
Does my child need to use ChatGPT or other AI tools?
No. Most activities are offline games and conversations. Where a lesson shows AI in action, you (the adult) drive and your child watches and discusses.
What age is this for?
Ages 8โ12. Younger kids may need more help with the reading parts; older kids can lead some activities themselves.
Will this teach my kid to code?
Not yet. AI Explorers is about understanding, judgment and safety, with no coding needed. A hands-on "Build with AI" track is planned for families who want to go further.
Do you collect information about my child?
No. Accounts and emails belong to parents and teachers only. We never ask for your child's name, age or any other details. See our privacy policy.
Can teachers or homeschool groups use it?
Yes. Each lesson works for a small group. For classroom or co-op licensing, email hello@syskiddo.com.
